The World History: Ancient and Medieval Eras and World History: The Modern Era video modules offer more than 500 five-minute videos of award-winning teachers discussing historical topics and provides essential, engaging content that is compatible with flipped or blended learning and instructional scaffolding. Each video module includes an outline of key concepts, essential vocabulary terms, and word-for-word video transcripts to provide well-rounded instruction for history.
The text-to-speech feature meets the diverse learning needs of students by reading aloud text from any of the Solutions and utilizing closed captioning. Texts can also be translated and read in three different languages: Spanish, French, and Chinese. Skyward Announces New Test Bank Management Solution
Online assessment creation tool supports teachers, improves student growth
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Feb. 5, 2015) – As school districts prepare students for assessments, administrators are looking for tools that ease teacher prep time, address established curriculum, and encourage schools and districts to share assessment content. Skyward, an industry leading K-12 school administrative software provider, announces its new Test Bank Management Solution that supports in-district test bank management, collaboration among Skyward customers and integration with online test bank providers.
Test banks provide flexibility to create custom assessments at the district, school and classroom level. Educators can easily select questions that most appropriately reflect curriculum, student population and time of year the test is given. Questions created through Skyward’s Test Bank Management Solution align with state and Common Core State Standards for analytical reporting, and allow districts to secure those questions to only be used on summative assessments.
