Follett Launches Sales, Customer Service Realignment
Goal is to ‘make doing business with Follett the best, easiest experience’
MCHENRY, Ill., April 28, 2016 – Follett today announced it is realigning its domestic sales and customer service organizations to better support customers’ needs and to ensure schools and districts have dedicated representatives with direct expertise in the products and services they use.
“We are refreshing the way we do business, and making a significant investment into this restructure,” said Nader Qaimari, President, Follett School Solutions. “Our customers have given us significant feedback as to their needs, and we are humbled to put that into action.”
Qaimari said the Follett sales team is doubling in numbers, and will provide better service through more frequent and personal customer contact. Further, Follett is creating newly specialized sales and customer service teams for Library/Classroom Content, New/Used Textbooks, Technology/Enterprise Solutions, and Private/Parochial. Library customers will once again have a dedicated customer service representative with intimate knowledge of each districts’ needs.
In addition, the realignment is designed to help potential customers simplify the process of reaching a representative. Both current and potential customers will be able to quickly access a revamped “Rep Finder” to find information on their support team at Follett.

Reading Horizons Wins 2016 BESSIE Award for Best Remedial Reading Website
(Salt Lake City, UT) April 28, 2016 – Reading Horizons, a multisensory curriculum used to rapidly increase reading skills, has been named a winner in the 22nd Annual Best Educational Software (BESSIE) Awards. Reading Horizons won “Best Remedial Reading Website” in the early elementary category.
Presented by the ComputED Gazette, the BESSIE Awards target innovative and content-rich programs and websites that provide teachers and parents with the technology to foster educational excellence. Contenders for the awards are evaluated based on academic content, technical merit, subject approach, and management system. Winners are selected from entries submitted by publishers worldwide.
